Usually the audience would not get tied up with the story based on TV reality shows , because the audience already know about the upcoming events. On the other hand, “Table No. 21 ‘is a film in which you fully agreed with the happening in the movie . Must appreciate that the director and the audience did not get a chance to think about the story and the characters. Director project all the flashbacks as an important part of the story and that made increased in the film speed rather than falling down.
Story: Vivan (Rajeev Khandelwal) has lost his job. He is looking for a good job. However, his beautiful wife Sia Awasthi (Tina Desai) has a good job. Sia in a lucky draw prize wins visiting package at Fiji. Sia and Vivan come in Fiji – and five star facilities are available for free.At Fiji’s most luxurious resort , both get invited to celebrate the fifth anniversary of their wedding. Where they met Mr. Khan (Paresh Rawal) who is the owner of the resort.
Mr. Khan gives offer them a live game play along with him . In the game , Vivan and Sia has to give the right answer of the questions related with his life , and also have to complete a task afetr each answer .After answering all the questions correctly and completing the task, they will get a reward of 21 million.
Vivan and Sia play games.After playing initial bet of the game they realise that it is not easy to play, and also extremely dangerous. Both had a deal with Mr. Khan of not to leave the game in between. In this case, the two can not wishing to leave the game in the middle.
Acting: Whole film story is evolving with these 3 characters only , Mr. Khan, Vivan and Sia and every star is fit in his character. Mr. Khan’s powerful role opposite Vivan and Sia have proved elves in several scenes. Mr. Khan has proved to be extremely powerful in front of Vivan ie Rajeev Khandelwal.
Direction: Aditya Dutt beautifully presented good script . First fifteen minutes, the film is somewhat slow, but as soon as the game starts, the audience themselves feel completely tied up with the game.
Music: Suspense and thriller story , frequently interruptions work of music. Ditto in the film as well.
Why visit: Fiji’s finest locations, Paresh Rawal best acting and highly effective film’s climax is the USP of the film. However, the sensor got ‘A’ certificate to the film does away with class family.
